Trafo Kuntshall congratulates Asker kommune with the art gift given by Peter Lorange. The art collector and businessman has given 60 works of art from his collection as a gift to Asker kommune . The works will be part of the new residents' square in Slemmestad, which will be completed in 2027. Peter Lorange has a strong personal connection to Slemmestad, where he grew up, and wants to reunite with the area. The art will be an inspiration and experienced in everyday life for everyone who works and visits Slemmestad. A selection of the works will be shown publicly for the first time at Trafo Kunsthall between March 9 and April 7.

Lorange has built up a unique collection that reflects his personal taste, and is a broad representation of renowned Norwegian, Nordic and international artists from the early 20th century to the present day. In the exhibition at Trafo Kunsthall The public will experience a curated selection of artworks that reflect the breadth of the collection. The art is mounted in dialogue with the color codes of the development at Slemmestad.
